I've never really been a "fan" of Van Gogh's art. Although I have always been familiar with his work. I'm currently reading Irving Stone's book, Lust For Life; and it is super good. With each page I read I grow more love for Vincent Van Gogh and I respect him as a man and an artist.
It's funny, he's sort of this awkward guy, and I find myself to be a bit like him.

"i am a man of passions, capable of doing foolish things. i speak and act too quickly when it would have been better to wait patienly. this being the case, must i consider myself a dangerous man, incapable of doing anything? i do not think so. but the question is to try to put these selfsame passions to a good use. for instance, i have an irresistible passion for pictures and books, and i want continually to instruct myself, just as i want to eat my bread."
