Untitled.

the golden blanket of life
lined with crimson sheets of treason
bellowing rage of the sun
leaves the moon without reason
for the mire taste of fruit
that is so often forbidden
fickle shades of blush
that have been neglectfully hidden
a stone of the present
a dark dreamy sea of the past
a sleepy tree of remembrance
with it's branches made of glass
for the forsaken land of promise
and the stars who laugh from above
I came across your face one final time
and found that I never knew love
hope, bringing one to wishful thoughts
prosperity, bestowed upon the one who sings
I've wanted nothing more than to fly away
but Icarus has stolen my wings
